Brothers Frank and Lorenzo Fertitta, owners of powerhouse properties like Red Rock Casino Resort & Spa, bought the Palms for $312.5 million in 2016. The casino floor itself, meanwhile, is packed with 40 new table games. The property's bold, edgy look includes a massive Damien Hirst shark sculpture, a hot-pink neon sign, new dining outlets, and much more.
But when it was sold in 2016 to Station Casinos, its $690 million renovation was the biggest news in Las Vegas. With one of the city's best views and a California-commuter clientele, Palms was always the cool kid off the Strip.
